Available Support

UFLib Domains is managed primarily by Digital Partnerships & Strategies; if you have a question, please email domains@uflib.ufl.edu.

This platform is designed primarily as a self-service option for Libraries faculty, staff, and partners who wish to develop digital scholarship projects or experiment or teach using digital tools. We have made numerous resources available on the homepage and offer face-to-face workshops each year on topics useful to anyone getting started in digital scholarship. As part of the ARCS program, we also offer consultations and expertise in a wide range of areas such as copyright, publishing, GIS, virtual reality, statistical analysis, data visualization, etc.

Publishing with LibraryPress@UF

Projects with needs that extend beyond the basic support described above may consider submitting a request for publication through LibraryPress@UF, an open access imprint of the University of Florida Press. UF affiliates who are not Libraries employees may also propose LP@UF projects. Fill out the LibraryPress@UF Project Proposal form.

The LibraryPress@UF may offer expertise and services such as:

  • Identification of best platforms/tools
  • Facilitation with technical experts
  • Copyright permission templates and clearance
  • Accessibility review
  • Basic graphic design
  • Proofreading
  • Facilitation of peer review
  • Marketing and cataloguing
  • Reporting of usage metrics
  • Preservation planning and implementation

Requests will be reviewed and granted based on the strength of the project plan, the project’s alignment with the LibraryPress@UF mission, and current capacity.
